Luis Mira da Silva
Luís Mira da Silva is Associate Professor at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia / University of Lisboa and a Partner at Consulai (www.consulai.com). He is also an expert in the African Centers of Excellence World Bank program, and he represented Portugal, until recently, in two groups of the European Commission: the strategic subgroup Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) of the Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR), and the working group of the EU Africa High Level Policy Dialogue on Food Nutrition and Security and Sustainable Agriculture. He coordinates several national and international projects (in Europe and Africa) in the areas of innovation, technology transfer and entrepreneurship in the agri-food sector.
